Types of journeys: Eternal Flame monument , Back to history

The Eternal flame is a memorial to the military and civilian victims of the Second World War in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The memorial was dedicated on 6 April 1946, the first anniversary of the liberation of Sarajevo from the four-year-long occupation by Nazi Germany and the Independent State of Croatia. The memorial is located in the center of Sarajevo at the corner the Marshall Tito street and the main Sarajevo pedestrian street, Ferhadija. In the very early morning of Sunday, 2 January 2011, the Vječna vatra was extinguished by (or self-extinguished before) a gathering of revellers, who quickly scattered. The flame was reignited less than 20 seconds later by a passing tourist. Inscription: With Courage and the Jointly Spilled Blood of the Fighters of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian, Croatian, Montenegrin, and Serbian Brigades of the Glorious Yugoslav National Army; with the Joint Efforts and Sacrifices of Sarajevan Patriots Serbs, Muslims and Croats on the 6th of April 1945 Sarajevo, the Capital City of the People's Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina was liberated. Eternal Glory and Gratitude to the Fallen Heroes of the liberation of Sarajevo and our Homeland, On the First Anniversary of its Liberation-- a Grateful Sarajevo

Sit back and relax
In practice, we often encounter situations when the event is organized by the company itself because it does not seem as an issue. “ The hall shall just be rented, we should come up with some program and send invitations”.

“Traveling with a group is never an easy task, but Velvet Life made it very enjoyable and stressless. We loved Bosnia and all the nature it possesses. The part that made our trip even more relaxed is the fact we had a very luxurious van to travel with and a driver that was available to us 24/7. We are looking forward to come back to Bosnia with Velvet Life.”
